Last 20th November, a new programme could be heard on Malian radio: a radio magazine show produced by Studio Tamani and supported by Terre des hommes Mali, aimed at heightening people's awareness of the need for child protection.
This weekly radio programme called "All the children of Mali" was launched on the" 20th November 2014, and is a collaboration between Studio Tamani and Terre des hommes Mali.
"The purpose of our cooperation with Studio Tamani is to give children a voice […] on the things that affect them, such as education, healthcare, culture, food security," explains Yannick Deville, Head of the Terre des hommes delegation in Mali.
Childhood is the central theme of the programme, aimed at heightening the awareness of the authorities, the people working in child protection and Mali communities on assistance for migrant children.
Broadcast in 5 languages through 23 radio stations, the magazine hosts various guests such as resource persons, people working in protection, and beneficiaries, so that each of them can report on a positive or constructive experience.
