The exhibit of the entry photos is a storybook on the “issues and concerns of children” from all over the Visayas as seen by children’s eyes and as captured on still photos by children themselves.
The exhibit which is located at the second floor of the Mall just outside the cinema areas, also shows the “Dreams of Children,” a silent but glaring call for the adults, the parents, the society as a whole to open the door to the children’s dreams.
The young volunteers participation and the ingenuity of festival executive director Mag Cruz Hatol made the opening ceremonies exceptionally one of its kind with the guest of honor, Mr. Boy Abunda joining the children in media and the professional local media practitioners in taking a photo of the other guests and co-organizers, Mr. Richard Kulzim, a German diplomat and executive director of the Goethe Institut, Mr. Rodel Bontuyan who is the Visayas Area Manager of Plan Philippines, Director Olive Pecson Tiu of the Philippine Information Agency Region 8, Director Julius Navales of PDEA -8, and Professor Joey Llansa of the Leyte Normal University.
