Journalists up to 28 years old from Russia, Germany, Eastern Europe and Central Asia are invited to St. Petersburg for a multimedia course focused on current youth subcultures, from punk to goth. The attendees will learn secrets of broadcasting, participate in the master classes on creating multimedia presentations and video reporting. They will study life of various subcultural communities, create a video, record an interview, shoot a photo series and then create a video, slide presentation or write an article.
The course is sponsored by the community for youth exchanges. Participants are encouraged to bring their own video equipment and a laptop; knowledge of German is helpful. Travel, expenses and meals are paid for by the organizers.
