OPPORTUNITIES: Youth communication meeting to focus on Brazil's 'culture of solidarity'

Communication students, young journalists and experts will convene from February 2 to 7 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to analyze new trends in communication and the "culture of solidarity." Registration is ongoing.

At the event, speakers, researchers and professors will cover the following themes: dialogue and transmission of the culture of solidarity; the youth reality in Latin America; ethical principles of the culture of solidarity; and future challenges: building and articulating networks and strength.

The meeting is organized by Organización Católica Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Comunicación (OCLACC) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
