APIA, Samoa ---- Twenty-two media articles of compelling, youth-driven media were launched internationally Thursdayas part of the Australian Aid-funded PACMAS initiative A2C2 (Action Against Climate Change).
These media pieces include TV, radio, online and print stories on climate change science and solutions. The productions are now being disseminated through a new website (www.apidae.com.au/A2C2/) dedicated to sharing the ‘voice of Pacific youth’ on climate change.
Over the last four months high school students from Samoa, Vanuatu, Kiribati, and Tuvalu as well as university students from the University of the South Pacific (USP) and the National University of Samoa (NUS), have been script writing, producing media products and presenting their work at national and regional showcase meetings.
