PROJECTS / SOCIAL MEDIA: New social media platform developed for youth TV show (CANADA)

"Calgary has everything!"

That's the word going out on a brand new social media network; it carries 'Shouts' not 'Tweets'.

The social platform was created to engage kids who already use digital and social media tools while also comforting parents who may be worried about the suitability of some online content.
It's part of a new interactive TV series called Cross Country Fun Hunt; viewers use the social network to give a shout out for their favourite communities as great places in Canada.

Produced by Canadian filmmakers
Apartment 11 Productions, the show will air as part of CBC's Saturday school aged programming. There are online webisodes streaming now, and then this fall, the TV show itself debuts.
