Prizes recognising news outlets which have engaged young people have opened for entries, featuring new categories such as engagement via mobile devices.
The World Young Reader Prizes, which are run by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), offer prizes in five core categories, including Editorial and Making the News.
According to a release from WAN-IFRA, the prizes honour newspaper companies that "have devised the best projects and activities during the past two years to promote newspaper reading and usage, on all platforms, among those under 25".
