ICDB / CALL FOR ENTRIES: UNICEF calls for entries for its 2011 International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award

UNICEF calls for entries for its 2011 International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award.

Deadline is Friday 1 July.


If you participated in the this year's ICDB on 6 March 2011, we would love for you to submit your programming for the ICDB Award. Entries should be mailed to your respective regional offices.

The ICDB Award will go to the broadcasters with the best programming that reflects the 2011 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting theme: Girls Are… Boys Are… , and who demonstrates a overall dedication to youth-participation in media.

To be eligible for the ICDB Award, the broadcast must have taken place on or around Sunday, 6 March 2011 in conjunction with the 2011 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting.


The International Children's Day of Broadcasting Award honours programming that allows youth the opportunity to speak up and be heard. Programmes should be for young people and created with some aspect of youth participation.
