Like A Drop of Water’s writing contest offers young people, ages eight through seventeen, world wide the opportunity to share their ideas on how they and their countries can reduce global warming and pollution.Beginning in June 2010, for at least the next five years, four or more monthly winners will receive awards of one hundred dollars. Like drops of water that make up the oceans, millions of people of all ages, can lead the way to bringing about the positive change we need to create a sustainable planet.
Here are the Official Rules
- The contest is open to all young people in the world between the ages of eight and seventeen.
- All essays and entry information must be in English.
- All entries become the property of Like A Drop of Water, Inc.
- Essays are to be 200 words or less.
- Winners will be notified by email and will be required to submit the following information.
- Full name of entrant and age.Name of sponsoring adult.
- Complete mailing address.
- With the sponsoring adult's permission the winner's essay and name will be posted on the website.
- Teachers and their classes may submit a collaborative entry.
