Video Contest on youthreporter.eu You are abroad and participate in a social project: be it working in childcare, with teenagers or disabled people. While doing a European Volunteer Service, participating in a youth exchange or a youth initiative, you learn new things every day and meet constantly new people.
The video contest "There's much to do!" gives you the opportunity to capture all these moments of your work on video. On youthreporter.eu you can show everyone what you do. Portray the extraordinary and difficult times, the challenges and unexpected solutions.
Show your viewers what you love about your work, why you do it or why it’s not always easy.
Short film, animation, interview, fictional commercial or sketch: every form of expressing yourself via video is welcome.
The Prizes:
1. Prize: 700 Euro

4.-10. Prize: A Voucher worth 100 Euro for a travel with Deutsche Bahn
Entry deadline: 31st of May 2010.
Who rates the Videos?
The Users! Your video will be online here on youthreporter.eu immediately and your friends and other users can vote for it. Voting is open until 30th of June 2010! Afterwards, a jury will nominate the winners taking your voting into account.
Who can participate?
People from European countries who are between 13 and 30 years old can participate. If you are (or were) abroad with YOUTH IN ACTION, participated in a youth exchange, EVS or another project located in the EU, you are very much invited to join the contest.
How can I participate?
Your video should be edited, set to music and be no longer than three minutes. Upload it to youtube.
Register on youthreporter.eu or log in if you are already a user. Under MYouthreporter and "Videowettbewerb" you can submit your entry starting from 1st of March 2010. You need a link to your video and a title. A description for your video and a list of your cast and crew is optional.
What else?
Your entry has to be made by yourself – that means you alone hold the rights for it. Videos not made by you are not allowed. It doesn’t matter if the video is new or if it has been published by you before.
