Cross media is the new buzz word at the 4th BUFF Financing Forum (BUFF:FF) in Malmö, Sweden (March 17-19), attended by around 140 participants from Northern Europe, specialising in children and youth projects.Projects developed for new media had been discussed at the previous BUFF:FF, but according to event organizer Annette Brejner, this is the first time that the Forum - the only co-production and co-financing platform for children and youth projects in Scandinavia - is dedicating an entire day on the subject. This new development is directly linked to a financial support for the next three years worth SEK 900,000 (around €92,000) that BUFF:FF has received from the EU and the City of Malmö for its project Malmö Media Evolution/BUFF:FF Focus on Cross Media.
