BATKEN, Kyrgyzstan - February 2010 - In one of the remotest regions of Central Asia, people are all ears for a radio station run by teenagers.

It has almost been a decade now since Radio Salam went on the air back in 2001. The radio station which is run entirely by young people operates in a very remote part of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, near the border with Tajikistan.
