What is the "Balkans Beyond Borders" Short Film Competition?Aiming to encourage young people towards the development of solidarity and the understanding among the people in the Balkans, the Initiative "Balkans Beyond Borders" organizes a Short Film Competition on the internet under the title "Balkan Beyond Borders"that starts on Monday the 7th of December 2009 and finishes on Sunday the 14th of February 2010.
Eligible to participate are all the young creators at the age of 18 to 30 from Balkan countries that can apply electronically by sending their film to the e-mail address: filmcontest@balkansbeyondborders.eu This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The subject of the competition is "The Inter- Balkan cooperation". The audience will have the chance to vote for the 10 best films and then the jury will vote for the best one among those 10. The jury will consist of distinguished and awarded directors and important people of the film industry. The Award Ceremony for the 10 best films will take place in Belgrade on the 13th of March 2010 in a big fest for the youth that will be organized by the "Balkans Beyond Borders". It should be underlined that this competition is being supported by the Naousa International Film Festival.
During the period from April 2010 to August 2010 the winning film will be promoted for the realization of the Campaign "Inter- Balkan cooperation- Live, Experience Create… together (LECT)"
