To this European congress Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation, German Youth Press and European Youth Press would like to invite you together with 40 other young European media makers.
As a participant of the congress you will talk about “Minorities in Europe” and deal with topics like homophobia or intolerance against ethnical minorities.
You will be a representative of your country and thereby report about local problems of minorities. In that way the congress offers you to get connected with young media makers from all across Europe. You will get the opportunity to listen to presentations of experts and moreover discuss and exchange different attitudes with them. In four workshops you will create media products afterwards. Due to your interests and skills you can chose between print, radio, TV and photography.
The European Youth Media Convention will take part from 14th until the 17th of April 2010. There is no participation fee. Accomodation and catering are taken over by Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation Berlin. The travel costs will not be paid.
