RegulationsAcceptance of regulations: Participation in the competition means acceptance, with no reservations, of all regulations.
The films from Europe will participate at the European Competition Section of the Festival, and the non- European films at the International Panorama. There's also the Greek Competition Section with films from Greece.
The films of the Competition Sections are divided into three age categories:
A) Films by children aged up to 12 years old
B) Films by children from 13 to 16 years old
C) Films by children from 17 to 20 years old.
The movies can be sent either on videotape or DVD. Their duration must not exceed 10 min.
The ideas and messages must be your own. You may consult adults for technical advice and the final process.
The movies will be evaluated by a jury comprising adults and children. The awards will be presented at the Closing Ceremony on December 12th.
The Festival covers hotel accommodation for up to 2 people for every film in the competition section during the Festival, as well as transportation within Greece only. It does not cover airline tickets. It also provides free entrance to all the Camera Zizanio and Olympia International Film Festival screenings, as well as to all parallel events.
Every participant must send the application form to the Festival Office by October 20, together with:
- the DVD of the film
- two stills from the film
- In the event of teamwork (school or workshop), a brief description of the group must be sent together with the application form.
