Youth Media Festival set for March 11
ESCONDIDO ---- The Escondido Education Foundation's Youth Media Festival starts at 7 p.m. March 11 in the Concert Hall at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, 340 N. Escondido Blvd. The free event will showcase videos from kindergarteners through eighth-graders that were created through a media program called Project LIVE.
The festival event is limited to the first 1,500 guests. One lucky student will win a small video camcorder in a drawing. The foundation is also having a VIP reception at 6 that is open to the public, followed by a small reception for students and their parents.
