DVD highlights social exclusion
Teenage girls in Wigan have made a DVD to raise awareness of social exclusion.
Lowton Girls' Group attempted to tackle the issue in a documentary called Lean on Me. The DVD shows the efforts made by members of the group to build friendships with young people from minority groups. It features interviews with the girls about their experiences of exclusion and footage of a Christmas party organised for young people from other minority groups.
