This edition of RIO MEDIA Reports about the 2nd International Meeting RIO MEDIA, like the first, includes
discussions of the meeting. Those who study, research, produce and use quality media for education and culture have a valuable document in their hands.
The objective behind the publication of this book is to expand and further deepen the debate that began with the 4th World Summit on Media for Children and Adolescents, promoted by CITY GOVERNMENT OF RIO DE JANEIRO through actions by MULTIRIO and SME, in April 2004, and which makes all of us responsible, Municipal Government and Society, for consequent actions that value quality media for our
children, youths, their families and educators.
