Mediterranean filmmakers invited to take part in Berlin workshop

Berlinale Talent Campus is organizing a workshop for filmmakers from the
Mediterranean region from February 9-15. Last day to apply: October 15.

A total of 35 participatnts from Algeria, the Palestinian Authority,
Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey will
be selected. The workshop entitled "Screening Emotions-Cinema's Finest
Asset" will take place at the theatre Hebbel Am Ufer (HAU) close to the
fesitval area.

Through a series of lectures, panel discussions, stars in the limelight,
workshops, seminars, case studies and excursions, the six-day programme
will explore the five crucial stages of filmmaking: philosophy,
pre-production, production, post-production and promotion.

Berlinale Talent Campus is a European Union project funded by the
Euromed Audiovisual II Programme, which aims at improving audiovisual
cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
