CALL FOR ENTRIES: OneMinutesJr - CRC@25 video challenge

What do Child Rights mean to you? Tell us in a video!

As the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child approaches in November 2014, we want to hear from you. From declining infant mortality to rising school enrolment, more children are realizing their basic rights. But this historic milestone must also serve as an urgent reminder that there’s still a long road ahead. Too many children still don’t enjoy their full rights!

What?
The OneMinutesJr video challenge is open to young people up to the age of 20. We’re asking you to get creative and produce a 60-second film (with title and credits) on a theme related to child rights.

YouTube will be the only channel for submissions. Upload your video on YouTube and send the link to tomjr@unicef.org, with your full name, your age and the country where you live. You can record your video with or without sound and it can be in any language, as long as the video is subtitled in English.

When?
Launch of the competition: Mid-July 2014
Deadline for video submission: 15 September 2014

If your entry is among the top videos selected, you will be asked to submit a blog post on our Voices of Youth platform where you’ll explain your work in detail and share what inspired you to produce the video.
