SHARJAH: The child within each one of those who follow creative work by children could well emerge 12 days from Wednesday when the first-ever children’s film festival in the entire Gulf begins its 10-day debut from Oct. 21 in Sharjah.
Called the “Sharjah International Children’s Film Festival 2013” (“SICFF 2013”), the landmark event gathers 78 films for and by children from 32 countries, said SICFF director Jawaher Abdulla Al Qasimi at a press conference on Tuesday.
It was a result of the “FUNN Media Arts Exhibition 2012” held between Nov. 27 and Dec. 6 last year at the Al Majaz Waterfront in Sharjah.
