Dhaka, Sep 5 (bdnews24.com)—The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and bdnews24.com, the first Internet newspaper and the largest news agency of Bangladesh, are jointly launching a news service for children.
The programme will be launched on Thursday through signing of an agreement by the two organisations at a ceremony at the newspaper's Mohakhali office.
UNICEF is considering the initiative as an opportunity for children to contribute in making a child-friendly news industry and for strengthening their rights.
Children can participate in the service through browsing http://kidz.bdnews24.com, a section devoted for children by the newspaper.
