NEWS: Child safety online needs a collaborative effort, says kids minister

(Source: New Media Age) Online child safety has become a big focus for the digital industry since the release of the Government-commissioned Bailey Report, outlining concerns about the commercialisation and sexualisation of children in the media (nma 9 June).

This focus was reiterated during the second UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS) Annual Summit (nma.co.uk 15 June), where Dixons announced it would sign up to support the Government's Click Clever, Click Safe campaign with educational material in-store.
