New York (ABC Live):- UNICEF has called for entries from broadcasters for the 2011 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting Awards.
The ICDB Awards will go to the radio and television broadcasters whose programming best reflects the 2011 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting theme, Girls Are… Boys
Are…, and who demonstrate an overall dedication to youth participation in media.
To be eligible for the ICDB Award, broadcasts must have taken place on or around Sunday, 6 March 2011 in conjunction with the 2011 International Children’s Day of Broadcasting.
The deadline for entries is 1 July 2011. More information and entry forms can be found at www.unicef.org/icdb.
