UNAOC: PLURAL+ 2010 Youth Video Festival Award Ceremony

Winners of the PLURAL+2010 Youth Video Festival were announced at an Award Ceremony on 12 November, 2010 in New York. The video festival was organized by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The Award winners were flown in to New York for a week long youth-media and migration themed activities, culminating in the receipt of their award at the PLURAL+ Video Festival Award Ceremony at the Paley Media Center. The Award Ceremony was emceed by U.S. State Department Cultural Envoy/Hip–Hop Ambassador George “Rhythm” Martinez. In addition, the PLURAL+ partner organizations announced a wide range of exciting prizes for the finalists. The winning videos will be complied into a PLURAL+ DVD, which will be shown at various festivals and broadcast channels throughout 2010-2011.
