This issue includes articles on a study of Cypriot youth and the formation of socio-cultural identity by their use of social websites, new data on the coverage of children and children’s rights issues in South African News, a report from the World Summit on Media for Children and Youth, and more. It is our hope that the newsletter will offer interesting reading!
The Clearinghouse would like to thank all the contributors to this newsletter! We look forward to receive contributions or other input to coming issues - brief notices and articles (about 800-900 words), tips and reports about conferences and literature etc. regarding children, youth and media. Issue no. 2, 2010 will be published in December and deadline for contributions is November 15. In particular we encourage contributions dealing with children, youth and the news, but other topics are certainly also welcome!
