Children from various schools and youth organizations were Sunday joined by parents, stakeholders and civil society organization to celebrate the International Children Day of Broadcasting (ICDB). The day which was marked in different events at both the Unique FM grounds on Garba Jahumpa Highway and the GRTS complex had the theme: “All Children All Rights”.
Close to 200 children gathered at the Inter-Generational dialogue forum organized by the Young People in the Media (YPM), The Gambia. The dialogue forum was aimed at promoting the rights of children as stipulated in the Child Rights Declaration, welfare and development of children in The Gambia and also to pave ways forward for the future leaders.
