FESTIVALS / CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Reel Teens 2009

You are invited to submit your films or videos to the ninth annual Reel Teens Festival

The Festival celebrates the creative intelligence of young people by screening films and videos made by teenagers. This past year 623 entries were received, 42 from foreign countries with 78 finalists being screened over the 3 days of the festival which is held in the Village of Hunter, New York.

The film or video entered must be made by a teenager and should not be more the 20 minutes in length.

Films or videos may be submitted in any of twelve (12) categories: Fiction, Short Fiction (10 minutes or less), Documentary/ News Magazine, Short Documentary/ News Magazine (10 minutes or less), Video Diary, Animation, Stop Motion Animation, Claymation, Visual Arts, Music Video, Public Service Announcement (PSA).

A panel of entertainment industry judges will award trophies and cash prizes for the best in each of the twelve (12) categories. In addition, the audience will vote for their favorite and award a trophy at each screening.
