Jamelia slams negative youth image
Jamelia wants society to celebrate young people because she believes their negative portrayal in the media is damaging.
The R and B singer, best known for the hits Thank You and Superstar, went back to school to visit youngsters at the Harris Academy in Peckham for the Prince's Trust.
Jamelia said: "It has been found that 60 per cent of the media coverage on youth has been negative which I feel is very damaging to them and to us as a society.
