There are three age categories. Additionally these age categories are divided in 2 categories each. Films which were produced at school will be judged in a different category than films produced privately. So in total the competition has got six categories. In Category III the "school-category" (Cat III/S) will include films from film schools and universities. A pre-jury will select the best films of each category for the main competition. As the competition is divided in six categories there could be six winners of the first prize. However, there will a special-price "Best Film", which will be awarded to the director of the best film of the whole competition. MORE INFO: http://www.youthfilmfest.com/the-competition.html |
